เหมือนกับการขุดเรือ..ด้วยไม้ทั้งลำต้น จนเมื่อสองสามทศวรรษที่แล้วไม้เนื้อแข็งที่ใช้ทำกลองยาว
เริ่มหายาก และ ใกล้จะสาบสูญ ครูดนตรีไทยเกรงว่าจะไม่ผู้สืบทอดทั้งกลองยาวและบทเพลงลีลา
